Phil Pace came to Montserrat Retreat House in 1997 as part-time and temporary to provide bookkeeping and financial assistance to Fr. Jack Heaney. His work expanded to full-time in 1998 under Fr. George Wiltz. Phil was appointed business manager by Fr. Wiltz in 2000 and has continued in that capacity under Fr. Hernando Ramirez and now, Fr. Joseph Tetlow.
Greg Reibenspies
was born in Wichita, Kansas, and has lived in Dallas since 1965. His association
with the Jesuits began in high school and continued through Loyola University
and four years spent in the Jesuit order. He and his wife have two daughters
(both married). His first career (26 years) was spent with Electronic Data
Systems (EDS) as a programmer and manager.
In 2001 Greg completed a three-year training program in Spiritual Direction
and he has been active since then in directing people one-on-one and giving
retreats at Montserrat and Our Lady of the Oaks in Grand Coteau, Louisiana.
He also has been involved as a volunteer in parish work at All Saints in Dallas
in the areas of liturgy and music for over 30 years. Greg’s second career
began with full time work at Montserrat in the fall of 2004. Recruiting and
coordinating retreats are his highest priorities; he also supports Montserrat’s
computers and local area network.
Luz
Restrepo is the Administrative Assistant for Montserrat since February
2004. Before that, she was an annual retreat attendee since 1999. Luz was
born in Colombia, South America and came to the United States when she was
nine years old. She is the proud wife of Orlando for 29 years, and the proud
mother to Marco Alexander, 24, and Jennifer Nicole, 18. Luz achieved her Associate
Degree in Bilingual Teaching from Tarrant County Community College. She loves
Montserrat and feels very blessed and privileged to be working here with the
Jesuit priests, and all the wonderful people who she has met.
Carol Ackels
works part-time in Communications and Development at Montserrat. Her work
encompasses the planning and implementation of annual giving campaigns, special
events, planned giving programs, grant writing processes and communication
tactics in support of Montserrat. A long-time Montserrat retreatant, Carol
is now receiving training for spiritual directors through the Ignatian Spirituality
Foundations Program. Carol is a graduate of Bishop Dunne High School in Dallas,
and received her B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Following
graduate studies at UTA, Carol entered SMU Law School and received her Juris
Doctor degree in 1983. Carol resides in Dallas with her husband, Henry, and
their five children.

Fr. Edmundo Rodriguez,
S.J. has been a strong force in Hispanic ministries for forty years.
Ordained in 1966 and prepared by graduate studies, he was made pastor in San
Antonio and helpled establish Communities Organized for Public Service. COPS
changed the city council to include minorities. He served as provincial of
the New Orleans province. He was appointed to the National Catholic Committee
on Hispanic Ministry, and co-founded PADRES, the national organization of
Hispanic priests. He was dean of Holy Trinity Seminary in Irving and comes
to Montserrat from eight years as pastor of the Jesuit church in Albuquerque.

Fr. Ron Boudreaux, S.J. is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. A graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now ULL) in languages, he went on to become a Russian linguist in the US Army and later received a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Colorado.
Fr. Boudreaux entered the Society in 1997 and was ordained in June, 2005. As a scholastic, he ministered to the poor on the border in Tijuana,Ciudad Juarez, and El Paso. After helping rescue the Church of the Immaculate Conception, the Jesuit church in downtown New Orleans, Fr. Boudreaux was assigned to Montserrat in April, 2006.

Fr. Walter C. McCauley, S.J. was born in Toledo, Ohio and received his primary and secondary schooling in Catholic schools in that city. He joined the New Orleans Province of the Society of Jesus in 1943, and was ordained a priest in 1956. He has degrees from Spring Hill College (B.A.), Fordham University (M.A.), Saint Louis University (S.T.L.), and the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome (S.T.D.)
Fr. McCauley has taught and been an administrator in high schools, colleges, universities, and graduate schools. He was Pastor of a parish in New Orleans for three years and has been assigned to several retreat houses. He has been giving retreats at Montserrat since 1990.

Fr. Joseph Allen Tetlow, S.J. is currently the director of Montserrat Jesuit Retreat House, where he gives retreats and workshops and writes. He moved to Montserrat from the Jesuit headquarters in Rome, where he served for eight years as head of the Jesuit General's Secretariat for Ignatian Spirituality, guiding the efforts of 250 Jesuit retreat houses and many spirituality works around the world. Born in New Orleans in 1930, he began seminary training just after World War II, completing licentiates in both philosophy and theology. In doctoral work on American Civilization at Brown University, he studied the development of American Catholic spirituality. He has held the positions of dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola in New Orleans, president of the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley, and founding executive secretary of the U.S. Jesuit Conference in Washington, D.C.
Fr. Tetlow has been professor of theology at St Louis University, an

Fr. José E. Fetzer, S.J. is a native of Lima, Peru, a graduate of St. Louis University with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, Spanish literature and an MA in Spanish literature. Fr. Fetzer entered the Society of Jesus in 1995 and was ordained to the priesthood in June, 2008. Fr. Fetzer has served at Montserrat since December 2006.
As a scholastic, he taught Spanish at Jesuit Dallas Preparatory School and worked in prison and parish ministry in Boston, MA while completing his theological studies at Weston School of Theology. He has been giving the Spiritual Exercises throughout his formation, but fell in love with retreat ministry after doing an internship at Our Lady of Montserrat in 2004. He grew up speaking the German language and is fluent in Spanish and French.
